The Norwegian Comedy Series EXIT – the Norwegian billionaires has become the most streamed series at NRK – ever.

The series follows a group of four men around 40, all working in the financial sector in Oslo. It is not board meetings, hedge funds and tough KPIs that fill the most of the series, but rather what goes on after working hours in their private lives characterised by deception, hard drugs, drinking, sex and violence.

EXIT is an excellent depiction of the terribly greedy and money-hungry mountain top of the financial world.

EXIT is based on interviews with four men in Norway’s financial environment – and the shocking content of the series and ultimately the interviews has made headlines not only in Norway but all over Scandinavia. Season two is furthermore based on interviews with women in the environment and the Economic Department of Norwegian Police.

Meet the CEO of Fremantle, Creator and Executive Producer of EXIT, Petter Testmann-Koch & Marianne Furevold-Boland, NRK producer.

PETTER TESTMANN-KOCH

Petter-Testmann Koch has a highly experienced background as programme-maker and producer and is well-established as a tv-professional within the Norwegian and international markets. He has background as CCO and executive producer at Nordisk Film TV and is currently the CEO of Fremantle in Norway from which he has built a solid production company known for its high-end entertainment. Testmann-Koch is one of the creators and the executive producer of the much anticipated drama series EXIT, which aside from its national and international success, has earned the title as the most watched Norwegian drama series of all time.

MARIANNE FUREVOLD-BOLAND

Marianne Furevold-Boland is executive producer at NRK Drama. She has been at NRK for many years and done a wide range of projects in different roles, such as producer, script doctor, writer, documentarist, journalist and presenter, in both television and radio. Aside from being the executive producer on EXIT’s second season, she has been the producer of the famous youth series SKAM and she also oversees the various SKAM re-makes that are in production in more than eight countries around the world.
